Facilities: 100 m rifle/pistol range; trap machine with firing points; archery range; clubhouse
and ball field (both available for rental); catered BBQ/picnic facilities; scout
troop camping area available upon request.
Activities: Trap; picnic BBQs; fishing derby.
Training: State-certified handgun license course; MA Hunter Education courses; MA
Young Adult Turkey Hunt Program; MA Young Adult Pheasant Hunt Program;
NRA Instructor and Range Officer coursesare also available.
Membership: Dues $20/year; work requirement for all members; NRA membership required
(discount available by enrolling or renewing through the club). Membership
spans the calendar year with renewals due in January. Member in good standing
status requires attendance of at least five meetings per year, service at a
Work Bee or WRG Club event, and at least one year of WRG membership.
Meetings: First Monday of each month at the clubhouse (with some Monday holiday
exceptions), 7:00 PM; alternate locations in winter months. Contact the
webmaster (see the Contact page) for alternate winter locations.
Directions: From Northampton take Route 9 to Williamsburg; turning left (West) onto Route
143 and continuing for 11.2 miles to the junction of Route 112 in Worthington;
turn right onto route 112 towards Cummington (before the steep grade) and
continue for 1.3 miles North on Route 112 arriving at the Worthington Rod and
Gun Club on the right.
